Cruz Documents Cleanup Effort on Social Media
Cruz shared his cleanup efforts on social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter). He posted photos and videos of himself painting over the graffiti, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a respectful public space. He described his actions as “erasing evil,” highlighting his personal commitment to addressing the issue.
Texas Department of Transportation to Assist
While Cruz took immediate action, he also notified the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). According to the Senator, TxDOT will be assisting in fully removing the remaining graffiti. This collaboration between a public official and a state agency demonstrates a unified front against vandalism.
