Freddie Prinze Jr. Almost Passed on “I Know What You Did Last Summer”

It’s hard to imagine anyone but Freddie Prinze Jr. playing Ray Bronson in the 90s slasher classic “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” but the actor almost didn’t take the role.

A Friendly Persuasion

The story goes that Prinze Jr. was initially hesitant to join the project. However, his friendship with the film’s director, Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, played a pivotal role in changing his mind. After reading Robinson’s script, Prinze Jr. was finally convinced to sign on, thankfully giving us the iconic Ray Bronson we know and love.
